Alan Varghese
I am a 4th Year joint-PhD student in the labs of Prof Dan Littman (HHMI) and Prof Evgeny Nudler (HHMI) at New York University School of Medicine. My PhD work relates to how cysteine and H2S influence host metabolism and immune response to gut microbiota. I did my undergraduate studies in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore working on how bacteria form multicellular structures. My main interests are in Metabolism and Immunology and how they affect each other.
